Preparing your ad for the Cache

You've done a great job to make your ad look as professional as possible. Before you send it to us, here is some basic information about file formats, photos, graphics, and general layout issues that may help you.

Accepted Formats:
We accept jobs from Quark XPress 4.0 or lower, Adobe PageMaker 7.0 or lower, Adobe Illustrator 10.0 or lower, Adobe Arcobat PDF's, Microsoft WORD, Publisher and and Adobe Photoshop 6.0 (PDF files) for either Macintosh or Windows platforms.

Preparing the Layout
Be sure graphics and fonts are linked. Include all of the graphics and fonts when you submit your project.

Photos
For best results all photos should have an effective resolution of 300 dots per inch. The image should be scanned at as high a resolution as needed, increasing the resolution in Photoshop will not effectively increase the quality of a photograph when printed.

Line Art
For best results all line art should have an effective resolution of 1200 dots per inch.
